Business Applications Functional Analyst – Logistics & Manufacturing, Finance
Coordinate all key reporting requirements between the end users and the development team in order to ensure accuracy and usability of reports. Create reports as required to meet the day-to-day and ad-hoc requirements.
Conduct site audits with regards to Applications Access Control, Process reviews and compliance to trained procedures. Develop best practice measures and key performance indicators to analyze the current practices and make meaningful recommendations for action taking into account the business process and technology practices. Improving/ optimizing/ standardizing Logistics & Manufacturing processes and job instructions
Create, review and maintain training & support documentation.
Provide a high level of quality for end user training, guidance and knowledge transfer, which should result in higher administrative and operational efficiencies. Ensure Key and End users at all sites receive assistance, training and support needed to implement the systems.
Applying business knowledge in coordination with end users and the development team in order to recommend enhancements to the business processes via optimization of system processes and procedures, automation of redundant activities, etc, in order to ensure a higher usage of these systems and consequently higher administrative and operational efficiencies
Design and implement customized technology solutions which suit the Business’ objectives, by consulting with end-users and Business Managers to gather requirements, Propose front-end and back-end design and technology platforms, Develop delivery timelines and ascertain acceptable performance standards.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, IT operations preferred.
Good knowledge of the ERP system logistics modules and the business process (Infor Baan 5c, LN preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of Logistics/Manufacturing Transactional Experience
2 years previous experience within a manufacturing organization.
ERP Systems Implementations experience is a plus
English language communication skills – written, verbal; Multi-lingual skills are an advantage
Well versed in office applications & Data Analysis Tools
Ability to take the initiative and be proactive to drive positive change within the organization.
Ability to assess business solutions, their purpose and benefits to the Business.
